Minecraft Cake

My most custom cake order yet!
Well, this was an interesting one. My sister asked me to make a 3D cake version of her childhood drawing to surprise my mom. My mom loved this drawing (pictured at right) that my sister made of her in preschool so much that it has been framed and hanging on her wall ever since. It was so much fun to create an edible version of it. My mom was so surprised and delighted by this. This is truly what I love to do, provide custom cakes. What's more custom than this?

Barbie could use a nap.
This cake is a little different. I wanted to try something other than the usual standing Barbie doll cakes. So, she's taking a nap. I also made her a teddy bear out of fondant.

I really enjoy making custom cakes. I love that my "art" can be a part of someone's celebration. I will be updating this blog frequently with cakes that I have been making. I would love to make a cake for you!
This cake was made for my niece's 1st birthday. I made this cake to match her party invitation. I also provided her with her own little smash cake.
