Pecan Pie in a Cake? Why, yes, thank you!

When asked what kind of cake my daughter wanted for her birthday, she responded, "A cream cheese-pecan pie-brownie-semi-naked cake drizzled in salted caramel.  An actual pie in the cake! Or, can I even call this cake? 

Well, this is the delicious result. We are not huge pie crust fans, so I made a cookie crust for the pie, which as requested, is a cream cheese pecan pie. Next, a layer of my homemade salted caramel, caramel buttercream, brownie layer, covered in a more caramel buttercream and drizzled in more salted caramel. She loved it!
