What did you use to make the shells look realistic (the brown spots)? I’ve been wanting to do a cake like this but stay away from fondant. The candy melts are an awesome idea!

Thank you! I used Cocoa Krispies cereal mixed with a little melted marshmallow, and kind of smooshed them up a bit.
